So... I went to Blackhawk yesterday, ended up spending most of the time in my room with stomach pains. Lame, I know. So being that I'm not feeling well, I'm less than motivated to work out today. But I must! I was handed a workout while in Blackhawk still. Our room was on floor 20. Add that to a fire alarm, and you get in a good 10 minute workout walking down flight after flight of stairs. Thanks AmeriStar! So I still have to come up with 20 more minutes of something to do. I need to go pick up Eve from my mom's house, so maybe I will walk her later?!? Only time will tell, but I must get in another 20 minutes to hold true to my blog! We will see just how motivated I will get before the new year!

Day 2: 363 to go!
Day 2:
Well I had high hopes for today. While I was laying in bed with my dog Eve, I thought how much she would live to take me for a run. And if you know Eve, that makes perfect sense.... I don't take Eve anywhere, I'm just along for the ride! Anyway, I got up at 7, put on some sweats, let Eve out and gathered my trash, as today is trash day. So I hauled my recycle can, trash can, and full... Dog waste can out to the curb. I was exhausted. Not only was I tired from just taking out the trash, but I burst into a coughing fit. Guess running with Eve was a bit ambitious for someone who's been sick for a week! Guess she will have to wait! So I turned on the news and did sit ups, worked my arms with free weights, did a bunch of leg lifts and side bends. Nothing too exciting, but I still did some sort of exercise for 30 minutes! Hopefully the workouts will be more challenging when I start feeling better! Off to Blackhawk with Brandi... Maybe I'll get in some more exercising... Walking, talking, laughing, lifting those drinks to my mouth ;) Ha! Hopefully I'll expend some energy in that awesome heated swimming pool on the roof of the hotel I keep hearing about! AmeriStar here I come!

Day 1: 364 days to go!
Alright, so I haven't been on this blog well... for a couple years. Now I plan to sign in every day! I am turning my goal of working out every day for at least 30 minutes, into a blog! I'm hoping to up my 30 minute minimum to 60+ by June, but we'll just have to see how it goes! Ha!With my new iPhone, I've lost my favorite App... Cardio Trainer. I'm so bummed. I haven't found an app for my new phone that comes close to being as good as that one is for Android phones. I will be SO happy when they finally create one for Apple! Anyway, I will be updating this blog with what I'm doing every day, so even if no one reads this, I will feel as though I'm being held responsible for it! So....
Day 1: I woke up and dusted off the elliptical machine. Literally. It was gross! Ha! I did a pre-programed workout, called the "Fat Burner." Sounds scary. And it was. I am so out of shape, even my scale is crying! It has never seen a number that high before! And whenever I say this, everyone tells me, "Wow!! You sure don't look like you've gained that much!" Well... due to some medical issues and well a slight addiction to Smartfood Popcorn, Qdoba, and a new found love for the Old Chicago Beer Tour, I've managed to gain 20 pounds in 2011! YIKES!!! Anyway, that's where this idea came from. As I was saying... I did the pre-programed "Fat Burner" for 20 minutes, then layed down on the floor and did sit ups and then used my kettle ball to do side bends, 3 reps of 45 on each side. So, that was day one. We'll see how day two goes!
